Moderation

One of my inspirational friends gave it to me straight today in Tripper’s class. And let me say for the record that she is not the first person that’s mentioned this aberrational part of my personality. I like children have two speeds; fast and off and as an adult and 61 years of age you would think that moderation would be just par for the course. Who else beside me would embark on an insane exercise regimen when I am not in training for anything? Not too many people I would venture and could it be that I finally listen to the PQ and actually try to settle down just a bit?  When I walked into the CS this morning it was my intention to take Kristen’s class at 9:45 but as I unclipped I took the advice I had heard so many times before and I finally decided to take it. And of course my extreme behavior needs an attitude adjustment outside the Lavender Palace too!

Tripper was his usual high-octane self and if class is only going to be 45 minutes long like it is in many other places we can afford to let it all hang out (except yours truly) because it feels like its over in a Woodbury minute.  This class has become hugely popular as well because at 7:15-8:00 members can get an earlier start on their Friday without waking before dawn and yet be ready to carpe diem before the rest of the world starts their day at 9.

Moderation. I have to see if I can fit this into my nature because it’s a cinch I won’t be doing any ultra-marathons or running up the Empire State Building again anytime soon. I will leave those jaunts for my friend Tripper and some of the more spry members of our class.

Well has sanity finally entered the picture? Certainly improvement is part of our exercise regime. Put at a sensible pace . Moderation is the ticket.
